Job Summary

The Salvation Army-Howard Mission Hospital is a registered faith based organization providing clinical and social services to marginalized communities in Mashonaland Central of Zimbabwe. The organization is committed to improve the wellbeing of people through quality health care, child protection and household economic empowerment. A dedicated team of experts with a mix of unique talent help the organization in addressing the community’s connected challenges. Through its USAID/Perpfar funded OVC programme, the organization is currently seeking services of the following key personnel to ensure programme deliverables are met in Mazowe District:

Duties And Responsibilities

• Timely updating OVC MIS
• Assist the M&E in production of monthly reports detailing all activities
• Record all meeting minutes – ensure to take note of the goals and plans to be completed within the next review period (two weeks).
• Assist the M&L team in designing and implementing M&E project activities
• Meet with project staff members on a bi-weekly basis in order to collect relevant data needed to monitor and evaluate project activities.
• Assists in documentation of lessons learnt
• Assists the M&E in maintaining a real time database
• Assists the M&E Assistant to coordinate, plan, and organize project review meeting.
• Filling of project documents including progress reports, training reports and minutes
• Check for data quality issues using the data quality trackers
• Ensure any violations or non-compliance to Howard Hospital Child protection and safeguarding policy are reported to the Administrator/ Management.
• Participate in planning and conducting training of and adherence to the Child Protection Policy from the perspective of the program and in general.

Qualifications And Experience

• Degree in Social Sciences or M&E
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in use of virtual programming tools
