Lecturers – Faculty Of Engineering (FE): Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Duties And Responsibilities

• Design, prepare and develop courses, modules and teaching materials.
• Deliver lectures and tutorials.
• Develop and implement new methods of teaching to reect changes in research.
• Assess students’ coursework.
• Set, mark and moderate examinations and assessments.
• Supervise or assist with supervision of undergraduate, students.
• Other research outputs in line with personal objectives agreed in the Staff Review Process.
• Participate and speak at workshops and seminars.
• Attend staff meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required.
• Any other related duties as assigned.
• Assistant lecturers share the lecturers’ academic workload, specifically the provision of lectures to students and other research activities.

Qualifications And Experience

• Should possess PhD/MSc Applied Mathematics
• Relevant experience as a university lecturer is an added advantage.
