The Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and results oriented individuals for the position of Marketing & Sales Executives at Pockets Hill, Harare. The successful candidates will play a key role in driving advertising revenue across all ZBC platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell advertising space and sponsorship packages across ZBC TV, Radio, and Digital platforms.
- Prospect, pitch, and secure new clients across various industries.
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships through excellent account servicing.
- Prepare professional proposals, quotations, and campaign schedules.
- Coordinate campaign delivery while ensuring compliance with broadcasting standards.
- Represent ZBC at events, activations, and exhibitions to generate new business leads.
- Follow up on client correspondence, assist with collections, and produce periodic sales reports.
- Develop innovative cross platform advertising and sponsorship concepts.
- Identify and assist in recovering lost or inactive business.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and pitches.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
- IMM / CIM Diploma is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Marketing and Sales.
- Driver’s Licence is a requirement.
- Knowledge of Aquira to go is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
- Excellent presentation and client engagement abilities.
- Good understanding of media, advertising, and brand promotion.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively within a team.
- Professionalism, integrity, and strong customer service orientation.
