VACANCY  

We are looking for highly qualified and competent candidates for the position of Marketing & Sales Consultant on fixed contract, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Sales. The incumbent will be responsible for developing marketing and sales strategies, managing sales pipelines for both retail & commercial markets, and executing marketing and sales campaigns to achieve business goals. The contract will run for a fixed two year term.

Key Job Functions:

• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies & plans for petroleum and related energy products.

• Execute marketing and sales campaigns, promotions, advertising, and direct marketing efforts to retail and commercial markets.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities including developing and implementing efficient Customer Relationship Management strategies.

• Create loyalty programs and brand awareness initiatives to drive sales.

• Gather market intelligence and conduct market and competition analyses.

• Prepare regular marketing and sales reports as required.

• Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements of the Job:

The successful candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:

• A degree in Marketing and Sales/commercial degree or related field.

• A post graduate qualification in a relevant field.

• Membership of a professional body.

• At least 5 years’ experience preferably in FMCG or trading business.

• A tech savvy person with experience in consumer analytics and digital marketing will be required for this role.

• High marketing and sales flair.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and commercial expansion skills.
