The job exists to provide day to day support to the marketing department.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Coordinate the community events with their respective region in liaison with the local field team.
• Participates and represents the organization at marketing events and activities e.g. tertiary and partner events.
• Updates the Brand Specialist and Marketing manager on progress of workplan activities through report writing, emails and meetings.
• Participates in development and refreshing of key messages in line with HCD findings.
• Utilizes field assessments tolls and training manuals to measure quality of a community event.
• Conducts output tracking on demand creation activities.
• Conducts scheduling and planning to inform field staff of all upcoming events and makes requests for making collateral.
• Participates in program related workshops for Human Centered Design.
• Monitors and responds to clients on social media via our hotline WhatsApp line, Facebook and twitter on a daily basis.
• Participates in field visits and assists in planning marketing events.
• Conducts concept development and prototyping of key programs.
• Distributes IEC and promotional materials to respective sites and during exhibitions.
• Monitors branding and promotional material inventory and stocks.
• Monitoring and preparation of monthly reconciliations of VMMC.
• Logs invoices and liaises with procurement to offer service providers with payments.
Qualifications And Experience
• Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business Studies or equivalent.
• At least 1 year working experience.
• Strong interpersonal and Communication skills.
