Sprout Wonders is a growing creative studio specializing in high-quality photography, creative services, and custom-printed apparel. As we expand our reach, we are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team and help us build strong partnerships within the community.

The Marketing & Operations Assistant is a hybrid role that combines administrative support with active field marketing. You will be the face of Sprout Wonders, responsible for introducing our photography and apparel services to external organizations, with a primary focus on establishing partnerships with local schools. When not in the field, you will handle day-to-day administrative tasks to keep studio operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Marketing & Outreach: Visit schools, colleges, and local organizations to pitch Sprout Wonders’ services (e.g., school photography, custom team/school apparel, and creative projects) to decision-makers.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for potential partners, ensuring professional communication from the initial introduction to project finalization.
  • Administrative Support: Manage day-to-day office tasks, coordinate schedules, organize files, and handle customer inquiries or messages.
  • Work Promotion: Execute administrative and promotional tasks designed to increase brand visibility and drive business growth.
  • Reporting: Maintain records of organizations visited, feedback received, and partnerships secured, providing regular updates to management.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be residing within Harare or Chitungwiza and have a strong knowledge of the local areas.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Shona. Confidence in public speaking and pitching to institutional heads (e.g., institutional schedules (e.g., school principals or board members).
  • Professional Appearance: Ability to present oneself professionally, neatly, and structured as a representative of the studio.
  • Drive & Autonomy: Highly organized, reliable, and capable of working independently in the field without constant supervision.
  • Education/Experience: A background, certificate, or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communication is an advantage, but a energetic, results-driven attitude is highly prioritized.
