Duties And Responsibilities
The incumbent reports to the Deputy Executive Director and responsible for spearheading the entity’s marketing strategies.
* Developing and implementing marketing strategies for the entity.
* Carry out marketing research
* Identifying and developing new markets
* Raising public awareness of the institution and its various products both locally, regionally and internationally
* Overseeing heritage marketing programmes
* Spearheading the setting up of visitor services and facilities
* Preparing annual marketing plans and budgets
* Developing a monthly newsletter for the institution.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification
* Master’s degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 5 years’ marketing experience
* At least 2 years at senior management level
* Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
* Negotiation and analytical skills
* Computer literacy
* Clean Class Four driver’s licence
