Dynamos Football Club is looking for a person to fill the position of Marketing and Business Development Manager to oversee the club’s marketing and business development offerings.

1. Position: Marketing and Business Development Manager.
2. Reports to: Chief Executive Officer.
3. Station: Harare.

Job summary

The Marketing and Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
Developing, implementing and evaluating the club’s marketing strategy
Developing, implementing and evaluating the marketing and business development
policies and procedures. Developing and managing all commercial activities and properties of the club. Promoting the brand and image of the club.
Promoting the club’s mega events and programmes
Developing and coordinating of marketing research.
Developing, implementing and evaluating fan engagement and or activations
Engaging current and potential sponsors
Reporting on developments and performance in marketing.
Coordinating the anniversary celebrations and testimonial events of the club.

REQUIREMENTS

Selection criteria:

The suitable candidate will:
Have a degree in marketing from a recognised university. Have a minimum of three (3) years in marketing.
Have knowledge and understanding of the marketing and sponsorship landscape .
Be proficient in MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills including English language fluency.
Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact successfully with senior business
people and to develop, maintain and utilise an extensive network of business contacts
Be dependable and a team player.
Be able to work independently, proactively and have a “hands on” approach. Have excellent task management skills, able to set and meet deadlines, multi task
effectively.
Have a sound knowledge of football.
