Key Responsibilities:-
⦁ Accepting, delivering and raising charges for all Goods Traffic conveyed by the Railways.
⦁ Raising Haulage charges, storage, lifts and miscellaneous charges where applicable.
⦁ Ensuring all ZIMRA (customs) formalities are met before acceptance for conveyance/delivery of all foreign forwarded/received rail traffic.
⦁ Maintaining wagon registers up to date as a revenue protection measure.
⦁ Collecting and receipting of all revenue from customers.
⦁ Responding to customer queries and reconciling customers’ freight accounts.
Applicants for the post must:-
⦁ Have at least five GCE “O” levels passes at grade C or better including English Language, Mathematics or Accounts.
⦁ Be prepared to undergo training for a period of 18 months.
⦁ Be prepared to work odd hours, during Public Holidays and at various stations throughout the NRZ system. Preference will be given to applicants below 40 years of age.
NB A relevant degree or diploma will an added advantage.
