Manufacturing Engineer

Job brief

⦁ The company is looking for a qualified, experienced and competent person to direct, control and oversee motor vehicle assembly operations.
⦁ More specifically, he/she will be required to coordinate production and technical activities to achieve the objectives of the company.

Responsibilities
⦁ Sets and monitors systems and procedures for efficient operational control of the department
⦁ Coordinates and submits annual operating and capital budgets
⦁ Controls operating costs
⦁ Monitors assembly activities to ensure production targets are meant within acceptable quality parameters
⦁ Authorises production programmes in conjunction with the marketing requirements
⦁ Monitors in-plant damages in terms of costs and replacements
⦁ Monitors all technical and engineering processes and procedures
⦁ Ensures plant and equipment maintenance programmes are in place and implemented
⦁ Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth

Requirements

⦁ At least five years post qualification
⦁ Proven managerial experience in a motor vehicle assembly environment for at least three years
⦁ Excellent organisational and leadership skills
⦁ Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
⦁ Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
⦁ BSc (electrical, mechanical, process or manufacturing) engineering
⦁ MSc/MBA will be advantageous

New Vehicle Sales Consultant

The purpose of the job is to establish, develop and maintain customer relationships that promote and enhance the sales performance of the company vehicle brands. The ideal candidate must have the following attributes;
⦁ A Degree in Marketing or equivalent qualification
⦁ Minimum 2 years experience in sales/marketing. The motor industry experiences an advantage.
⦁ Strong quantitative, communication, and networking skills
⦁ Demonstratable computer skills in spreadsheets and word processing
⦁ Must be under 35 years of age
⦁ Clean class 4 Driver’s license
