MANAGING DIRECTOR
Applications are being invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the vacant position that has arisen in our company based in Manicaland.

Key Requirements
This role requires either,
a Forester with the relevant qualification and experience, with 10 years at executive management level in the forestry industry, or
a Business Leader with a business degree with at least 10 years executive management experience, 5 years of which should at GM/MD/FD/OD level preferably in the forestry or agriculture industry.
Zimbabweans in the diaspora and other nationals, especially from SADC are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
The role is responsible for implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the organization, working with the CEO of the parent Group of Companies, Cicada, to fulfil its governance function, directing and leading the organization in achieving its philosophy, mission, strategy, tactical and annual business plans.

The key result areas are:
• Lead and enforce the company’s governance function.
• Lead, continuously develop and motivate all staff members to their full potential.
• Build and foster long term and healthy relationships with all stakeholders.
• Enforce adherence to all operational standards within a FSC Certified environment.
• Continuously improve the bio-asset value and end value of all products
• Directthe company’s financial performance.
• Manage cost-effective operations and market development activities.
• Manage business riskand maintain internal controls.
