Duties And Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Quality assuring University processes that include admission, registration, Teaching and Learning,
examination writing and so on;
2. Quality assuring teaching and learning materials;
3. Coordinating internal quality audits;
4. Analysing quality audit reports and identifying opportunities for improvement;
5. Supervising Quality Assurance Coordinators;
6. Servicing the University’s Quality Assurance Committees;
7. Researching on quality service delivery in all areas of the University;
8. Preparation and consolidation of quality assurance reports;
9. Supporting the institutional review process and the completion of institutional self-evaluation reports;
10. Coordinating applications for accreditation of academic programmes by Faculties;
11. Carrying out quality assurance awareness training programmes across the University; and
12. Carrying out any other duties as delegated by the Director.
Qualifications And Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Master’s degree in Education, Educational Management, Business Administration or equivalent;
2. Computer literacy
3. Three (3) years relevant post qualification experience;
4. Knowledge of higher education and related quality assurance policies, processes and procedures;
5. Research skills;
6. Knowledge and experience in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems will be an added advantage;
7. Experience in working in a university setting is an added advantage; and
8. Knowledge and exposure to Open Distance electronic Learning (ODeL) mode of delivery will be an added advantage.
