Air Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd seeks to appoint dynamic and professional person to the position

of MANAGER FLIGHT OPERATIONS – in the Flight Operations Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES (KRAS)

1. Management of flight crew, flight planning, safety and safety training of flight operations personnel.
2. Responsible for supervision and control of flight operations.
3. Recruitment and training staff in the above areas.
4. Organizing and directing Air Zimbabwe’s flight operations division.
5. Flight services and operations control.
6. Planning and implementing strategies to achieve best practice in airline operations.
7. Ensure that all safety training is properly documented as it is performed.
8. Encourage staff to submit hazard report forms on unsafe practices or conditions as they are observed.
9. Liaison with applicable authorities (CAAZ), original equipment manufacturers and other external entities relevant to operational control.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

1. Must be a holder of ATPL.
2. Must have three years experience as Pilot in command of B767, B737, ERJ145.
3. Minimum of one year in a supervisory position.
4. Knowledge of airline flight operations.
5. A management qualification is an added advantage.
