Job Summary

 

Ellchart Chartered Accountants is looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager – Audit and Financial Reporting Services to lead a portfolio of audit engagements and provide high-quality financial reporting consultancy to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both external audit and financial reporting frameworks such as IFRS and IPSAS.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Plan and manage external audit assignments, ensuring they are executed in line with ISA and firm methodologies.
• Supervise and mentor audit teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Review financial statements and working papers for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical support & advisory services on the application of IFRS & IPSAS to clients.
• Assist clients with preparation of financial statements, conversion to IPSAS, and implementation of new accounting standards.
• Conduct financial reporting training and workshops for clients and internal teams.
• Stay updated on emerging changes in auditing and financial reporting standards.
• Manage client relationships and ensure a high level of service delivery.

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or related field.
• A recognized professional qualification (ICAZ, ACCA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in auditing and financial reporting, with at least two years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge and application of ISA, IFRS, and IPSAS.
• Proficiency in audit tools and financial reporting systems.
