Job Summary
A local NGO is inviting suitably qualified, experienced, passionate, and hardworking individuals to apply for the above-mentioned position. The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed term contract of 12 months. Continuity of employment will be based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
Duties And Responsibilities
Reporting to the Monitoring Evaluation, Reporting and Learning Officer, the MIS Officer will be responsible for the following, among others:
• Ensuring collection of timeous data in all the areas of operation
• Ensuring that the data is entered in real time into the Database and work on regular database updating
• Managing the data system in the database for easy report generation,
• Support project Officers and project team on data quality issues
• Support documentation of project success stories for communication and reporting to stakeholders
• Support data entry by project staff to ensure compliance to all elements of data quality
Qualifications And Experience
• A Social Science Degree
• Post graduate qualification in Monitoring & Evaluation and/or IT, Communications related will be an advantage
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in OVC, SRHR, HIV programming in an NGO environment
• Ability to produce high quality reports.
• Experience working with teams
• The ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision and meeting deadlines.
• A clean class 4 driver’s license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office operations and packages.
