Management Accountant

A vibrant company with interests in infrastructure development, energy and mining is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced individual to join their dynamic team as the Management Accountant.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the candidate will be responsible for: undertaking financial administration, assisting in internal audits, preparation of budgets and budget control. The incumbent will be expected to create business strategies to generate shareholder value, develop and establish sound internal controls and financial reporting procedures. Incumbent should ensure value-for-money for major project procurement and expenditure.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a professional qualification such as CIMA/ACCA. A minimum of five years’ experience in an accounting role of which 2 years should be in a managerial role. Key Attributes Incumbent should be able to achieve targets with minimum supervision and must have excellent analytical skills. Must have proven team leadership skills and be hardworking.
