Duties And Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Attending to machine breakdowns on company or customer installed plants and equipment.
• Effectively communicating with plant operators and/ or Customers when a shut down is required to repair a breakdown.
• Conserving resources wherever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
• Responding to emergency calls and executing repairs efficiently and safely.
• Carrying out planned maintenance checks as per relevant schedule.
• Reading and interpreting project plans.
• Performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the project .
• Adhering to safety principles and regulations at all times.

Qualifications And Experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Class 1 journeyman or A degree or National Diploma in mechanical engineering.
• Clean Class 4 Drivers License and a valid Defensive Driving Certificate.
• Experience in refrigeration systems.
• Extensive SHEQ knowledge.
• High level of integrity with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
