SUMMARY
- The position is responsible for assisting the Engineering Manager on Maintenance Works and Projects Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and continuously improve the effectiveness of the organisation’s maintenance programs to prevent sudden plant failures, eliminate defects and improve on equipment reliability and life cycle.
- Problem diagnosis and solving for recurrent and major equipment failures.
- Continuous improvement on equipment reliability and life cycles.
- Monitor and coordinate compliances with various technical related compliances
- Coordinate, review and certify maintenance works by internal personnel and outsourced service providers
- Determine, specify and coordinate the acquisition, storage, retrieval and installation of new equipment and spares.
- Evaluate and generate measures for optimizing the organization’s maintenance costs through equipment effectiveness and relevance.
- Evaluate the organization’s operations and processes and develop short to mid-term optimization strategies.
PROJECTS MANAGEMENT
- Assist the Engineering Manager in project activities from initiation to closure.
- Assist the Engineering Manager with the generation and maintenance of records for projects.
- Validating compliances of project deliverables to specified requirements.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, pipelines associated process flow fittings.
- Fluid flow measurement and metering
- Generators, PLC, SCADA and HVAC
- Automated fire detection and fire suppression system
- Business communication
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Registration with ZIE
- Clean class IV Driver’s license
- Aged between 25 to 35 years
