We have been retained by our Client in the tobacco cigarette manufacturing industry to facilitate the recruitment & selection of self-driven and competent personnel to fill the vacant positions that have arisen within their organisation.
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for the operation, monitoring and maintenance of machines used to produce tobacco products. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, quality control measures and efficient production practices.
Principal Accountabilities
Operation of machinery.
Quality Control & monitoring production.
Maintenance and troubleshooting.
Adherence to safety protocols.
Collaboration to team members.
Documentation and reporting.
Job Related Attributes
The ideal incumbent must possess the following minimum qualifications, competencies and experience:
5 O Level’s including English Language & Mathematics.
A minimum of 2 years in a tobacco cigarette manufacturing industry preferably in a FMCG environment.
Prior experience in the tobacco cigarette manufacturing industry is required.
Good communication skills for team work and reporting.
Sound knowledge and current understanding of plant maintenance.
