Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance and enforcement of Council By-Laws, Resolutions and Directives.
- Assists in the formulation and preparation of Loss Control and Security Risk Management initiatives within Council.
- Assists in carrying out investigations for all cases involving employees.
- Promotes Security and Risk Control Awareness, i.e. crime prevention and awareness campaigns.
- Checks on enforcement of controls in Council.
- Supervision of the loss control section of the Council.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in the Public Sector.
- Diploma in Security Management / Loss Prevention / Police Studies or equivalent.
- A higher qualification is an added advantage.
- Class 4 Driver’s Licence is an added advantage.
- ZRP, ZPCS experience is a distinct advantage.
- At least 35 years old and mature.
