Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance and enforcement of Council By-Laws, Resolutions and Directives.
  • Assists in the formulation and preparation of Loss Control and Security Risk Management initiatives within Council.
  • Assists in carrying out investigations for all cases involving employees.
  • Promotes Security and Risk Control Awareness, i.e. crime prevention and awareness campaigns.
  • Checks on enforcement of controls in Council.
  • Supervision of the loss control section of the Council.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in the Public Sector.
  • Diploma in Security Management / Loss Prevention / Police Studies or equivalent.
  • A higher qualification is an added advantage.
  • Class 4 Driver’s Licence is an added advantage.
  • ZRP, ZPCS experience is a distinct advantage.
  • At least 35 years old and mature.
