Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the post of Loss Control Officer that has arisen within Sunway City.
The Purpose of the position: The position exists to provide expertise in the loss control and security management of Sunway City Private Limited.
Reporting to: The incumbent will be reporting to the Projects Manager (Civil Engineering).
Roles And Responsibilities
- Assists in the formulation and preparation of loss control and security risk management initiatives in the company.
- Assisting in formulating effective loss control and security policies and procedures.
- Assists in drawing security work plans and programs.
- Assists in carrying out investigations for all cases of loss involving employees and all other cases of loss and security breaches at all levels.
- Checks on enforcement of loss controls in the company.
- Assists in the supervision of the day-to-day work of contracted security companies.
- Promotes security and risk control awareness i.e., crime prevention and awareness campaigns.
- Assist in coordinating the emergency preparedness systems for the company
- Assists in the formulation and implementation of the department’s annual budgets and work plans.
Qualifications And Experience
- A Diploma or Degree in Security Management / Loss Prevention / Risk Management or equivalent.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Loss Control, Prevention, or Security Management.
- Must have a security background with the Police or Military.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Reliable with the ability to work independently.
