Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and task-oriented individuals to fill the position of LOSS CONTROL OFFICER.

Responsibilities

Receive cases and prepare work plans for investigations
Conduct interviews and investigative research
Report or recommend reporting of criminal cases to the police and ensure follow up to final logical conclusion
Prepare case prosecution , documentation on criminal ,civil and internal disciplinary matters
Maximise recovery of losses caused by financial crime through both financial and asset tracking
Present evidence in criminal, civil and disciplinary proceedings
Develop policies and procedures to ensure protection and preservation of assets

Conduct periodic security surveys across the organisation to ensure that security processes and systems remain relevant and effective
Recommending appropriate security systems to ensure maximum protection of corporate assets
Receive, assess and action any ad-hoc requests for security services
Liaise with management of contracted security companies to resolve any security matters arising from operations

Requirements – Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

Degree in Risk/Security/Loss Control Management
At least 3 years’ experience
Strong investigating, analytical and people management skills
