Our client, a leading Chemical Manufacturing company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loss Control Manager to join its team and help them enhance their operational effectiveness and reduce losses. The candidate should be prepared to start on the 1st of August 2025.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing loss control strategies to minimize risks associated with chemical manufacturing operations.

• Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Analysing data related to incidents, accidents, and losses to identify trends and develop corrective actions.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of safety and loss prevention throughout the organization.

• Providing training and support to employees on loss control practices and emergency response procedures.

• Preparing reports and presentations for management on loss control initiatives and improvements.

• Monitoring and investigating incidents of theft or fraud within the organization.

• Collaborating with security personnel to enhance surveillance and security measures.

• Training employees on theft prevention techniques and the importance of reporting suspicious activities.

• Performing comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.

• Developing risk mitigation strategies and emergency response plans.

• Keeping abreast on industry regulations and best practices related to loss control and risk management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Audit & Risk Management/Risk & Security Management/Business Administration/Financial Intelligence.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in loss control and risk management.

• Clean class 4 Driver’s licence.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Loss Control and Private Security Management (ICLPSM) will be an added advantage.
