Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the transportation and logistics of raw materials into the organisation and finished products out to customers, also focuses on optimizing truck routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining efficient logistics operations.
• Develop and optimize transportation routes for truck collecting raw materials and delivering products, ensuring efficiency and cost effective.
• Coordinate schedules for truck pick-ups and deliveries, balancing suppliers and customers while maximizing resource utilization.
• Communicate with suppliers to arrange timely collection of raw materials, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
• Manage the logistics of product deliveries to customers, ensuring orders are fulfilled in time.
• Provides reports of daily truck routes.
• Work closely with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to ensure seamless logistics operations and effective communication.
• Responsible for monitoring and tracking transporter accounts. i.e. opens an account for each transporter and tracks payments of the transporters and submits a daily updated tracking sheet and transporter accounts status.
• Responsible for the monthly analysis of movement.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or inventory management.
• Strong planning and coordination abilities.
• Good Proficiency with TMS, WMS.
• Negotiation and vendor-management expertise!
• Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
• Certifications (optional): CPL, CSCP, Six Sigma, or equivalent logistics certification.
• Attributes: Excellent communication, ability to work under pressure, and a customer-focused mind-set.
