Report: Administration Manager and VMMC Programme Manager

Duties

• Maintaining and updating of asset register;
• Source quotations and oversee the procurement order management process in compliance to organisation and funding partner policies;
• Assist in updating the approved suppliers list and develop good relationship with suppliers to guarantee efficient and effective procurements;
• Develop procurement plans;
• Manage storage of all inventories received at Head office and maintain inventory records.
• Process all the distributions to sites in the most efficient manner and keep all the stock movement records;
• Work with and / or report to different Project managers / coordinators on status of their supplies and ensure all are well informed of the status of their requests and deliveries;
• Work with National Supply Chain system for VMMC commodities to ensure timeous ordering by sites and follow up on deliveries to sites by Natpharm;
• Carry out site visits to assess VMMC stock status and establish good working relationships with all VMMC commodities supply chain stakeholders;
• Assess the consumption pattern of the different sites and make recommendations on distribution plans.

• Qualifications and experience

• University degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution with 3 years relevant professional experience preferably in the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) sector;
• Full Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualification and experience with the VMMC commodity / health commodities supply chain system is an added advantage;
• Possession of a clean Class 4 Driving Licence and Defensive Driving Licence is essential.
