Duties And Responsibilities

Reporting to the Laboratory Scientist, the main responsibilities of the job include –

• Collecting and preparing samples/ specimen

• Performing lab tests and reporting the lab test results accurately and efficiently

• Setting up, adjusting, testing, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment and

apparatus

• Performing stock-takes and managing inventory

Qualifications And Experience

Qualifications:

• Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma

• Registered with the Zimbabwe Health Professions Council and Medical Laboratory and

Clinical Scientists Council Zimbabwe

The Ideal Candidates Must Have:

• A minimum of two years working experience as a Laboratory Technician

• The ability to learn and follow specific scientific techniques

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Distinct attention to detail

• Good customer care skills

• A high degree of professionalism.
