Locum Doctor x 1 Post-SECURICO 326 views

SECURICO – a leading provider of security services in Zimbabwe – is looking for a locum doctor for its industrial clinic based in Harare. The doctor shall assist in the setting up of a new clinic which is part of the company’s expanded medical and wellness services to its valuable employees. The doctor shall provide services for two days in a week.

Main Responsibilities

• Manages health activities within the Clinic

• Conducts consultations, diagnosis and treatment of patients (SECURICO employees), in line with Ministry of Health regulatory requirements

• Performs Medical Examination of newly employed SECURICO employees • Sits in medical Boards to examine the fitness for duty of employees.

• Provides wellness and health education to employees

• Trains and mentors the Clinic Health Care Workers on new and difficult health conditions

• Manages difficult cases referred by the Nursing Sister

• Prepares workers compensation reports

• Liaise with other medical practitioners, specialists and health service providers regarding admissions and referrals for patients Qualifications And Experience

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery Degree (M.B.Ch.)

• Most be registered with the Medical, Dental and Allied Professionals Act 9 Chapter 27:08)

• A valid Practicing Certificate

• Willingness to work under the SECURICO Company regulations. Experience & Skills

At least 2 years’ experience – post internship. Experience at an Industrial Clinic would be an added advantage.
