WORKS DEPARTMENT
(6) LINESMAN – GRADE 6 (1 POST)
1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/ JOB SUMMARY
-
Install and maintain over and underground electrical lines
-
Attend to street and tower light faults and repairs
-
Supervise subordinates
2. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
-
Skilled Worker Class 2 in the Trade of Electrical Engineering
-
A clean Class 2 Driver’s Licence
3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar work environment
