VACANCY NOTICE

Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill the positions of Line Patrollers which have arisen in the Organisation. The positions will be based at PZL Feruka/Wilton and Msasa stations.

REPORTING TO : Risk and Loss Control Officer
LOCATION : Msasa/Wilton/Feruka

Key Responsibilities
⦁ Conducting joint pipeline inspections on the pipeline.
⦁ Ensuring that all observed incidences /disturbances are reported to relevant authorities.
⦁ Protecting scenes of crime from disturbances to safeguard evidence and exhibits.
⦁ Representing the Company in court proceedings and hearings when need arises.
⦁ Assisting in investigations of crimes committed on the pipeline in the best way possible.
⦁ Taking appropriate action to prevent unauthorised operations on the pipeline and its surroundings, as stipulated in the Pipelines Act Chapter 13;08.
⦁ Performing any appropriate duties as may be assigned by the superiors.
⦁ Ensuring that all items and tools are in good condition at the time of hand over/take over.

⦁ Excellent communication and reporting skills.
⦁ Strong observation skills and ability to respond emergencies.
⦁ Physical fitness and endurance.
⦁ Commitment to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications
⦁ Aminimum of 5”O” Levels including Maths and English.
⦁ Class 3 or 4 driving licence.
⦁ Aged between 25 and 40 years.

Experience
⦁ 5 years’ experience in security forces is a pre-requisite.
⦁ Knowledge of pipeline operations and safety protocols is an added advantage.
⦁ motor bike riding experience is an added advantage.
