THE PERSON SPECIFICATION

• 5 ”0” levels
• Water safety. CPR and First Aid certificate
• Lifeguard and swimming coach qualification
• Applicant should have at least one war’s experience as a Life Saver

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will be reporting to the Sports Officer and will be responsible for:

Life Saving

• Monitor swimming activities
• Rescues drowning swimmersand initiates rescue procedures
• Undertakes emergency procedures for injured clients
• They also control the supplies that are used in and around the swimming pool.
• Watch out for emergencies and thus should always be on standby
• Administers first aid

Training

• Teaches basic swimming knowledge
• Liaise with stakeholders on matters of swimmingskills
