VACANCY
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Representing the Commission at Court in conjunction with an Officer of the Attorney General’s Office.
* Attending meetings on behalf of the Commission and meetings with stakeholders.
* Drafting correspondence for and on behalf of the Commission.
* Receiving documentation pertaining to civil suits and updating all relevant information in the civil suits registers.
* Creating and maintaining Civil and Criminal Registers and files.
* Referring files to the Civil Division of the Attorney General’s Office and giving appropriate instructions as maybe assigned by the Manager.
* Making follow-ups on amendments of legislation.
* Researching on all legal issues.
* Receiving correspondence from stakeholders on behalf of the Department.
* Drafting pleadings on all civil suits.
Qualifications and Competencies:
* Degree in LLB Laws.
* Registered with the Law Society of Zimbabwe.
* Must be highly professional, assertive, and innovative.
* High level of integrity.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information.fidential information.
