Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates within the Authority to fill in the above vacant posts. The incumbents will report to the Institute Vice Principal.
Key Responsibilities
- Lecturing on HEXCO programmes.
- Teaching and examining short courses.
- Assisting in the formulation and review of regulations and syllabi.
- Participating in the design of modules for each course.
- Actively participating in Institute and Authority projects as part of a team.
- Carrying out Parks and Wildlife Management duties in accordance with the Institute’s Strategic Plan and as assigned by the Principal.
- Participating in all extra-curricular activities and park maintenance activities at the Institute.
- Conducting research and producing publications or other research outputs.
- Supervising students on industrial attachment.
- Leading students in field practicals.
- Assisting students with research projects.
- Maintaining student discipline.
Requirements
- Degree in Wildlife Management, Ecology, Conservation Law, Biological Sciences, or any other relevant field.
- Possession of a higher qualification is an added advantage.
- Prior lecturing experience is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the Parks and Wildlife Act and the Institute’s Strategic Plan.
