The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Graduate School of Business: –
LECTURESHIP/SENIOR LECTURESHIP/ASSOCIATE PROFESSORSHIP
Applicants must be able to teach face-to-face and/or online, any one of the following modules offered at Master’s level
Operations Management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must possess a minimum of an earned Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree in Operations Management. Applicants must also have attained at least a 2.1, at undergraduate level, in Engineering, Production or Operations Management.
- In addition, applicants must have at least two years’ teaching experience in an
institution of higher learning with a minimum of two single or co-authored publications in refereed journals in Operations Management or in any areas of Commerce and Management. - The successful candidate will be expected to teach post graduate students in Operations Management and to provide academic leadership and guide the School in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, business development and organisational effectiveness.
- In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to supervise postgraduate dissertations.
- Applicants with practical work experience in industry or commerce and/or extensive consultancy experience in Operations Management will have an added advantage.
- Applications from those who hold a Master of Commerce degree in Operations Management, and with at least five years’ post-qualification experience will also be considered.
