- A relevant Master of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Science, Sport Management, or an equivalent sport-related discipline, attained with at least a merit, together with a foundation first degree in a sport-related learning area.
- A PhD, or evidence of studying towards a PhD, will be an added advantage.
- At least two (2) years of university teaching experience.
- A proven record of scholarly publications will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to mobilise funds or contribute to externally supported projects will be an added advantage.
