TEACHING AND LEARNING INSTITUTE (1 POST)
Applicants must have at least a Master or PhD degree in the field of Mathematics and/or
Statistics. A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Mathematics and/or Statistics, Science or
equivalent fields is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to provide academic leadership to the Institute,
guide and contribute to basic and applied research, innovation and industrialization
programs in the Institute as well as teach the following courses at undergraduate and
postgraduate levels: Advanced Mathematics, Engineering Mathematics, Research Methods
and Statistics. In addition, the candidate will be expected to coordinate and participate in
the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research students. University teaching
experience is an added advantage.
