We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Laboratory Sampler to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate sample collection and preparation for mineral processing and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

– Perform representative sampling of run-of-mine ore, crushed material, concentrates, and tailings using approved methods
– Conduct slurry and process water sampling across the processing plant
– Operate and maintain sampling equipment including riffle splitters, sample cutters, and core samplers
– Prepare samples for analysis (drying, crushing, splitting, pulverizing)
– Maintain accurate sample records and chain-of-custody documentation
– Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
– Assist laboratory technicians with basic analytical tasks as required
– Report any sampling irregularities or equipment malfunctions

Qualifications & Experience

– National Certificate/Diploma or equivalent in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, or Chemical Sciences
– Minimum 2 years’ experience in mining laboratory sampling operations
– Proven knowledge of mineral sampling theory and best practices
– Experience with sample preparation equipment (crushers, pulverizers, etc.)
– Basic computer literacy (MS Office, LIMS experience advantageous)
