Qualifications And Experience
Certificate in Agriculture
At least 5 “O” levels including Maths, English, and Science
At least one year of relevant work experience at a tertiary institution or research institution or at a farm
Applicants to prove in an interview that they possess Agronomic practical skills for both open-field and greenhouse experiments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting in carrying out laboratory and field experiments
Assist in general maintenance of laboratories in the department, housekeeping, and cleaning of apparatus
Assist in the preparation, running of practicals and ensuring safe laboratory practices
Assist in the safe disposal of laboratory wastes
Assist in monitoring and data collection of field trials on campus and off campus
Assist in any other business assigned by the department
Assist in arranging logistics in the requisition and availing of protective clothing and stationery to the department
