Reports to: ICT Officer
Location: HEAD OFFICE

Job Purpose

Responsible for supporting and maintaining aviation-specific airlines, passengers, and office automation systems. The junior officers assist the Systems support officers troubleshoot and resolve user issues. Their main concentration is user day-to-day support with PC and desktop applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Infrastructure (Networks & Telecommunications)

• Hardware and Software Support

• Cybersecurity

• Computer & Telecommunications Hardware

• Systems Development, dashboards and analytics

• Data management, Analytics and dashboard development

• Maintenance and support

• User training

• Innovation and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics, Science and English

• At least 2 ‘A’ Levels.

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Informatics, or equivalent.

• ITIL 4, 0 Foundation or Cobit Foundation certification is a must.

• Experience with Airport facilitation systems is an added advantage

• At least 1 year experience in aviation or 2 years’ experience in an ICT environment,

• Security/Networks Certification such as CEH, CHFI, CISM, CISSP, CISA, CCNA or comparable Security/Networks Certification is a distinctive advantage.

• Knowledge of ERPs SAP, Pastel, Dynamics, an added advantage

• Knowledge of analytics and dashboards tools a distinctive advantage

• Competencies and skills

• Practical knowledge supported with certificates in configuring CISCO devices is desirable.

• Systems development knowledge in Java, C#, python or any other ODP development languages is an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge in Windows & Linux server administration is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of aviation computer networks such as CUPPS and FIDS systems
