Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of
Junior Elephant Handler.

The Position

Assists in the daily care and handling of Elephants

Key responsibilities

– Assist in the daily care and feeding of elephants.
– Monitor the health and behavior of elephants and report any concerns to senior staff.
– Participate in cognitive stimulation sessions
– Maintain cleanliness and safety of the elephant habitat.
– Support senior handlers in managing elephant interactions with the public

The suitable candidate should have:

– A minimum of 5 Ordinary level passes, including English
– Guiding course
– At least three years’ working experience in a similar environment
– Good communication and presentation skills.
– Well-groomed and presentable.
– EXcellent interpersonal & cUstomer service skills.
– Good knowledge of the fauna and flora.
– A genuine passion for wildllife and conservation
