Job Summary

Zuva Petroleum invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of IT SYSTEMS ANALYST based in Harare, reporting to the IT MANAGER.

Duties And Responsibilities

● Translates business requirements into technical requirements.
● Formulates and defines system scope and objective based on user needs and understanding of business
processes.
● Develops solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
● Develops, writes and communicates systems design and functional System Analysis to understand strengths and
weaknesses for the identification of improvement opportunities.
● Receives technical support calls through the IT Helpdesk, emails and resolves or escalates where necessary.
● Monitors the availability and performance of infrastructure systems, and integration with third parties.
● Develops, analyses, prioritises, and organises requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowchart
for developers and testers to follow.
● Defines and coordinates the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases to serve the overall quality
assurance process.
● Performs systems tests and analyses test results to ensure the solution meets the needs of the business.
● Investigates systems problems and escalates as appropriate.
● Performs design, implementation, and upgrades of Information Systems to meet the business and user needs.

Qualifications And Experience

● Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
● A professional qualification in the relevant field is an added advantage.
● A minimum of 2 years experience in Information Technology or similar environment.

● Clear verbal and written communication and ability to prepare accurate reports.
● Ability to plan and organise in line with job requirements.
● Ability to analyse and solve work related problems to achieve the correct outcomes.
