VACANCY
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) for optimal performance.
* Assist with network setups and new device integrations.
* Diagnose and repair hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).
* Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and coordinate vendor repairs.
* Install and update OS and software; ensure license compliance.
* Resolve software issues and support users.
* Maintain IT asset inventory and track equipment allocation.
* Provide Tier 1 & 2 support; document all support activities.
* Train staff on IT best practices and new tools.
* Implement preventive maintenance and security measures.
* Support onboarding setups and collaborate with departments on IT needs.
ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS
* Proven experience in an IT support role.
* Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
* Demonstrable experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair (desktops, laptops, printers).
* Proficiency in installing, configuring, and updating various operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and software applications.
* Experience with IT asset management and inventory systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
* A Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable.
