Our client, a well-established organisation in the agricultural industry, is looking for a versatile tech all-rounder to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees all technology operations and evaluates them according to established business objectives.
Devises and establishes IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the Board and Senior Management.
Analyses the business requirements of all departments to determine their current and future technology and system needs.
Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimise disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
Establishes efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement, upgrades and configuration of IT infrastructure.
Develops and implements an annual ICT operation plan within the budget allocated and manages key projects and upgrades for the year.
Analyses IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
Manages relationships with vendors and creates cost-efficient contracts.
Controls budget and reports on expenditure.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related qualification.
MBA is an added advantage.
Relevant IT Certifications.
At least 5 years minimum experience in an IT environment at Managerial level.
Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (ex: Microsoft
Exchange, Active Directory), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring.
Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
Knowledge of managing on-premises servers, storage area networks and network attached storage devices.
Expertise in data centre management and data governance.
