Grant Thornton Zimbabwe, a leading audit, tax, and advisory firm, is hiring for the following positions:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update risk-based IT audit programmes.
- Perform IT Audits to completion with limited supervision (identification of risks, controls, weaknesses, recommendations, best practices, sampling, reporting etc).
- Identify significant risk exposures relating to control processes and make appropriate recommendations.
- Contribute to cybersecurity-related assignments, including vulnerability assessments, reviewing cybersecurity controls and participating in cybersecurity posture assessment.
- Perform data analysis to achieve audit objectives.
- Provide assurance and recommend controls in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations and frameworks.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Compile audit file and reports, including communicating findings to management
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Security, or a related quantitative field.
- Any certification is an added advantage (CISA, CISM, CRISC, CEH, CISSP, ISO 27001 LA or other information security qualifications)
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, Power BI, Advanced Microsoft Excel or other data analytical tools is highly advantageous
- Understanding various cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and experience with network security assessments and tools (e.g., vulnerability scanners, security monitoring tools) is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
- In-depth knowledge of various IT infrastructure, applications and operating systems.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT, Cybersecurity, Data Analysis, or Audit
