We’re looking for a results-oriented IT Administrator based in Beitbridge to oversee our IT department and manage our company’s computer infrastructure. Successful candidates will be responsible for updating and installing hardware and software, troubleshooting, and maintaining our networks and servers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Network and server monitoring and maintenance.

• Provide call centre with second-line support and training as needed.

• Monitors all live systems daily and reacts accordingly.

• Running diagnostic testing and debugging methods to make computer systems more efficient.

• Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.

• Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.

• Creating user accounts and performing access control.

• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.

• Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.

• Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.

• Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Information systems, computer science, or equivalent.

• Certification in 1 or more of the following CISCO, CCNA/N+/MSCA/A+

• 5 Year experience in a fast-paced environment with particular attention on service excellence.

• 1(one) year knowledge of switch and routing.

• 1(one) year experience with virtualised environment.

• 1(one) year in experience in computer hardware support.

• 1(one) year experience software installation and support.
