What we expect from you.
· Manage and develop the Security Assurance strategy, policies, and processes
· Define the Security Assurance Framework for measuring security features, practices, procedures, architecture and policy implementation
· Define procedures to provide guarantee on system security controls and enforcement
· Develop project timelines for ongoing system assessments
· Establish system resilience procedures and conduct breach of security drills
· Lead technical analysis on investigations, assessments, and compliance-based initiatives and oversee improvements of threat and vulnerability management programs
· Manage the risk assessment exercises during feasibility studies to mitigate potential security loopholes in future investments
· Select, implement, and improve new tools, capabilities, frameworks, and methodologies within IT Security
· Test new deployments, integrations and initial configuration of all new security solutions and any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with CBZ and industry standards
· Perform technical analysis of high impact vulnerabilities and verify responses
· Manage forensic investigations on IT related breaches
· Contribute to the enterprise business continuity and disaster recovery plans
· Drive the transformation of all security technologies into fully automated workflows
Qualifications, Skills and experience required
· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from a recognised university
· Industry recognized cloud security qualifications such as CCSP, CCSK, CCAK
· Industry recognized security qualifications, such as: OSCP, CEH, Licensed Penetration Tester Master, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCISO, Certified Penetration Tester, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator.
· 7 Years’ experience in IT security, security architecture, security operations, threat/vulnerability management, cloud security, application security, data privacy and protection
· Experience of operating within the ISO27001, NIST framework environments and familiar with information security frameworks such as CIS Top 20, OWASP, ISO27001:2022 or similar
· Good knowledge of security and auditing in relation to technology platforms such as Microsoft Active Directory, UNIX/Linux, Network Security, Databases
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
