A vacancy has arisen in the Finance Department of a leading Bulawayo-based Pension Fund. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Investments Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement investment strategies across traditional and alternative asset classes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of investment portfolios, ensuring compliance with Fund policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and assess new investment opportunities, including alternative and strategic projects, to enhance long-term value creation.
- Review and update investment policies and procedures in line with best practice and regulatory standards.
- Prepare periodic investment reports for management, the Board, and regulators, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance outcomes for local and external investments.
- Liaise with external fund managers, financial institutions, and consultants to negotiate favorable terms and secure funding.
- Supervise and mentor investment staff, fostering professional growth and capacity in investment analysis and project management.
- Keep abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and global best practices in responsible investment. cash flows daily.
- Assists in production of budgets including production of interest and dividend income projections for the budget annually or as and when required.
- Attends to audit issues and queries as and when required.
Requirements
- Possession of at least a degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics and Investments or equivalent.
- Professional qualification or studying towards one such as CFA, CA, or FRM is an added advantage.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a computerised accounting and Finance environment.
