Key Responsibilities

  • Gathers evidence and information through various techniques, including surveillance, interviews, and forensic analysis.
  • Prepares detailed reports of findings and maintain accurate records of all investigations.
  • Works with law enforcement agencies, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to build cases and support legal proceedings.
  • Provides recommendations to senior management based on investigation findings and assist during legal proceedings.
  • Keeps up-to-date with laws, regulations, and best practices related to investigations and security.
  • Conducts investigations into various incidents and provide detailed reports to senior management.
  • Collects and analyses evidence, interview witnesses, and coordinate with other departments as necessary.
  • Provides recommendations to senior management based on findings and provide support during legal proceedings.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records of all investigations and ensure they are stored securely.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners and law enforcement agencies.
  • Stays up-to-date with laws, regulations, and best practices related to investigations.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of company-wide investigation policies and procedures.
  • Utilises a variety of techniques, including surveillance, interviews, and forensic analysis, to gather information and build a case.
  • Writes reports, testifies in court, and works with other law enforcement agencies.
  • Conducts investigations on potentially fraudulent activity within the company
  • Analyses data and preserves evidence to uncover patterns and potential leads in investigations
  • Manages and maintains confidential information and sensitive documents related to investigations
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and legal regulations throughout the investigative process
  • Provides support and guidance to other departments on fraud prevention and detection measures
  • Any other duty in line with the scope of the job responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Criminal Justice, Law, Forensic
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • A master’s degree is an added advantage in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in state security/public organisations.
  • A Clean Class Four Driver’s License.
