Job Summary

Reporting to the Finance Director
Roles And Responsibilities
- Preparing, and generating financial inventory reports
- Coordinating monthly, quarterly and year-end stock counts with external auditors
- Planning, implementing and managing procedures to optimize inventory control
- Managing business supplies and raw materials of high value
- Detecting shortages and acting in a timely manner
- Defining inventory management KPIs and tracking them regularly
- Overseeing daily operations and identifying bottlenecks
- Suggesting solutions for continuous improvements
- Staying up to date with the latest technology and best practices
- Using inventory software
- Investigating and resolving inconsistencies with inventory
- Ensuring a safe working environment
- Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices
- Coordinate periodic inventory counts.
Qualifications And Experience
- Degree in Finance with relevant experience in inventory management
- A relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage
- Experience in ERP Software such as sage pastel
- Excellent analytical and computer skills.
- Must have excellent communication and superior interpersonal skills.
- Must possess high conceptual skills and be innovative
- At least 3 years’ experience in the relevant area
