Reporting to the Head Commercial, this is a short term position for a project which requires recent graduates with a background in Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Livestock Management or related field. The project commences on the 15th of October 2018 and will run for 2 months
.
The project involves;
a) A market feasibility study in Zimbabwe to understand supply and demand of liquid milk & milk products and evaluating the financial viability of setting up a dairy farm.
b) To study the market and financial viability of setting up an integrated milk processing unit with liquid milk and milk products

Duties and Responsibilities
•Understanding the dairy value chain.
•Conducting costings for dairy farm project and further value additions on liquid milk.
•Conducting both primary as well as secondary research necessary for the project.

Qualifications and Experience
•Recent graduates in Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Livestock Management or related qualification
•Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
•Ability to work and adapt in a cross-cultural environment.
•Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
•Outstanding communication skills
•Great attention to detail and a results driven approach
