JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for the above mentioned position within their Research and Development department to provide technical reports and services to clients. The successful candidate would be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and would involve technical assessment, liaison with global team members and client management.

Responsibilities:

• Providing technical assessment and reports
• Identification of qualifying R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical discussions.
• Taking a flexible approach to core working hours and a willingness to meet exact service delivery standards
• Attending meetings, building and developing effective working relationships with colleagues, intermediaries and other networks for business development
• Continuous development – technical knowledge

Requirements:

• Holder of a Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree is a core requirement.
• MSc /MEng and or PhD would be an added advantage
• Structural Engineering qualification would be an added advantage
• Experience in construction would be an added advantage
• Excellent Analytical skills is essential.
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously ensuring necessary deadlines and reports are met.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential
• Strong numerical skills
• Capable of working extended hours and over the weekend if need be
